That’s a Wrap!

Well the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge season has come to an end.  Ten races at 8 tracks literally from coast to coast and north to south.  It’s been a great year for the Mustang Challenge Series and finished on a high note – get it “high” as in Salt Lake at 4500 feet in altitude.  The other high note was the final race was back to full strength with 26 entries.  This should bode well for next year.  At the season finale at Miller Motorsports Park in Salt Lake we had all three Speedworks Mustangs in action.  Ben Crosland in the #45, Ed Lever was back in the #44 and newcomer Michael DeNino in the #21.  All three did very well, the Speedworks Mustangs performed flawlessly and they all ran a good race.  Most notable was Ben’s inspired drive through the field.

So, in 2009 there will be just a handful of really lucky guys with one of Kenny’s new Mustangs and the experience of working with Kenny directly. Each 2009 Kenny Brown Mustang will be custom built to order and each will be a prized Signature Series Mustang. Kenny will offer Three Classes of Performance with base packages for you to choose from to build your very own Custom Kenny Brown Mustang alongside Kenny. Where to start, it seems like a whirlwind summer so far.  Initially we had planned on only attending a few track events this year.  However, I took on engineering responsibilities for the Speedworks Mustang Challenge race program and I haven't had much of a chance to catch my breath until now.  With six races down and only two to go the schedule is finally starting to spread out a bit.
